The NFL is as cutthroat as cutthroat gets. It’s a violent sport that requires unbridled aggression and fearlessness just to entertain the **thought** of being good.
Chicago is less than a week removed from one of its most significant victories in the Super Bowl era from a team that for too long just shrugged past its mediocrity.
And yet some folks out there are all skittish and upset because the head coach, during a raucous locker room celebration, said “fuck”? For real?
Just finished the #CalebWilliams film & thought it was pretty darn good! Here’s how I would grade him:
1st Half:
2 ++: making a play that not everyone makes
12 +: Right play for QB
1 +-: Missed something but made up for it with positive
1 O: play out to his hands
4 -: Bad plays in some form
2nd Half:
2 ++, 13 +, 5 O, 6 -
Total for 46 plays:
4++, 25 +, 1 +-, 6 O, 10 -
Don’t have time to do for every QB but overall that’s a really solid game… one caveat is a couple of the minuses were big play misses, but it happens to every QB!
@robertmays Started listening to @themenzingers because of you tweeting about them. Saw them live for the first time last night at the Castle Theater in Bloomington. Everything you’ve said about seeing them live was spot on.
Right Tackles that graded out higher than Darnell Wright in 2024:
- Zach Tom
- Penei Sewell
- Lane Johnson
- Brian O'Neill
THAT IS IT
In year two, he was the 5th highest graded Right Tackle.
... Stop with the narrative that Poles missed on Jalen Carter. He NAILED IT with Wright
The Los Angeles Dodgers are a machine. Not only do they print cash, their willingness to spend it in pursuit of winning is unmatched. They put their money where their mouth is. Others could benefit greatly from the same approach. They choose not to.
