So @MrsTominaj inspired our next project, exploring Newton’s first law of motion, the spherical pendulum, gravity and inertia. Thanks, Laura. #STEAMlearners.
Experimenting with cardboard marble runs. Saw idea on @instructables & wanted to try with cardboard & toothpicks. Works well. Using 4 layers of cardboard & half size toothpicks. Used nails to poke holes but drill will work better. Will have try it with the Ss. #hawksmakerspace
@iangriffin just picked up three super excited kids from the airport. Thanks for the amazing opportunity, they couldn’t stop talking about it on the drive home.

@andykaifong@HaeataCampus Who said a timetable can’t be flexible?! Was great to see an idea in 2018 become reality today, and watch Kaiako embrace the freedom of being in charge of their timetable. Lucky to be a part of a great team! @jbrownbear@Cleansweep_ @PoroaAlicia

@karyngraynz Agree! The overwhelming feeling at the moment is that it seems to be a production line of teachers with the focus on past research and not looking ahead. Akonga needs and passions don’t seem to be at the forefront of ITE.
