@KeanaSwanner The data on redoing UW questions vs getting another question bank favors another bank for the highest likelihood of increasing your score especially on a tighter schedule. Would 10000% recommend AMBOSS

Almost half (41%) stated that now, that step 1 is p/f,
research will be more important when it comes to offering interview invitations. The effect was most pronounced in competitive specialties.

As a student who came from a school with no previously matched urology applicants. I never understood these challenges until I went on my sub-I’s, and started getting feedback for things that seemed outside my control. Great article and well described for any DO Uro student.

@whuffDO I didn’t look at a single thing. Ended up working in the bus barn fixing school buses just to take a break. 2nd year becomes rough enough with schedules and studying. Enjoy your free time!

@DiamondMcNeil24 Randomly found a natural energy/ focus in red beet powder. It was at our local Sam’s club and I gave it a shot. Not sure how much of it was placebo, but I felt better drinking it!

Pretty awesome thread about suturing. Not just with technique, but wouldn’t have thought about using chicken to get more of a better feel for tissue. Wonder how long until my wife starts picking up on my chicken purchases.

🧵regarding the important suturing concept of whether to use one bite to grab both ends of the tissue ('taking it in 1'), versus using two bites ('taking it in 2').

We will go over some technical pointers about each of these, especially as they pertain to Lembert sutures.
