Despite the “TanStack”-mention firehouse getting cranked 10,000x this week, I still insisted on reading every single one (not a bot!).
Any single person would have probably gone insane, but I’m not alone! The people on my team are amazing (the open source ones and the ones that I live with). They kept me grounded and we got to work.
Result? My dedication to this craft, this ecosystem, and its people are higher than ever before.
Get ready for an awesome TanStack summer.
Palantir CEO Alex Karp rips into AI slop companies:
“The appearance of software working, is not software working.”
“The slop getting a lot of attention is dangerous in terms of the hyperbolic rhetoric—that there will be no jobs because of slop, nothing will work, we will have a god-like figure in the name of AI.”
“In fact, what actually does work is a platform built by a motley crew of highly-technical people who over 20 years have been maligned for being right.”
Thank you @BeJS_, it’s such an honor to be able to contribute to the community you’ve created!
P.S. - can’t take credit for the tune of course, but the parody lyrics are indeed of my own creation.
This post is dedicated to our incredibly talented friend and community pillar, @AdamJuranTenor 🤗!
If #ReactParis had an anthem, there’s only one contender: 🎼 "LA VIE EN CODE" 🎼.
Thank you for creating this brilliant tune with so much love and passion.
Your dedication to the #community, Adam, goes far beyond music. From your 25+ years in #engineering and #architecture - and your previous life in #opera! - to your generous D&I #sponsorship through @juranosaurus , you are a vital part of #BeJS. You make it possible for so many underrepresented #devs to attend and enjoy our events. We 🩵🤍♥️ you so much!

Japanese engineers developed a “Sword Tip Visualization System” for the Fencing World Championships, and it makes fencing look absolutely incredible to watch.
@kenwheeler Seriously, my flow is:
1. Tell the agent to do the thing
2. Hold its hand like the mid-tier dev it is
3. Mild berating (optional)
4. Read the damn code and commit
And I've been extremely productive with it
Just like Juranosaurus Techs 🦖

I'm sharing the 10 Gemini prompts that built my entire SaaS from scratch.
These prompts literally replaced my CTO, lead dev, and product manager.
Comment 'send' and I'll DM you the complete Gemini guide to master it:
I am hiring an agent.
I am thankful to have an inbox overflowing with speaking engagements and invitations and I’d love to hire someone to help:
1. Stay on top of it all and
2. Organize collaborations with great industry/strategic partners
If you know someone, please reply.
@TejasKumar_ If you ever need someone to just listen, or remind you of the contribution you are to this world, just say the word and I’m there for you.
@TejasKumar_ Tejas, you make such a difference in this world that you probably never know. And those effects ripple and cascade and positively affect countless others. Your love, enthusiasm, and knowledge are a gift. I and I am sure many others owe you a debt of gratitude. ❤️❤️❤️
