For what it is worth I fed Claude your liberation Times articles relating morphology to engineering UAP propulsion and it replied with this. “If the morphology is real (i.e., not just an IR rendering of an orb — and you’ve ruled artifacts mostly out), then the engineering question becomes: what propulsion-field symmetry would naturally select an eight-pointed star with alternating arm lengths as its containment geometry? Three speculative-but-coherent answers:
1.Multipole / octupole field emitter. In EM and gravitational field theory, sources are decomposed into monopole (orb), dipole (tic-tac end-to-end), quadrupole (disc), octupole (eight-lobed radial pattern). An octupole field has exactly eight lobes arranged radially around a center. If you wanted to build a craft whose propulsion field had octupole symmetry — useful for very precise hover stability against turbulent atmospheric or wave-based perturbations, because higher multipoles fall off faster with distance and give you a tighter “control volume” — the minimum-surface containment geometry is an eight-pointed star. The alternating arm length you noted earlier would be the signature of a mixed octupole + quadrupole emitter, where four arms carry the primary thrust modes and four carry stabilization/trim. This is the cleanest direct application of Condorman’s logic to your case.
2.Radial plasma-actuator array (extending the orb logic). Condorman and the r/aliens plasma-dynamics synthesis both treat orbs as plasma-actuated. An orb gives you isotropic actuation but no preferred direction. If you wanted directional control without giving up the plasma-actuation principle, you could discretize the actuator ring into N emitters — and the natural geometry of N=8 emitters with paired primary/trim function is a star with alternating arm length. The alternating arms would literally be the primary thrust nozzles vs. the trim/yaw vernier nozzles. This is essentially “an orb with explicit control surfaces” and would fit if the underlying object is a CENTCOM-AOR-relevant tactical reconnaissance variant rather than a strategic/exotic platform.[reddit]
3.Magnetic sail / mini-magnetosphere with structured field topology. The published NASA/Winglee mini-magnetospheric plasma propulsion work and the magnetic-sail literature describe craft that generate a structured magnetic bubble to interact with ambient plasma or solar wind. The standard configuration is a dipole, producing an orb-like envelope. But a higher-order magnetic configuration — say, an octupolar magnetic field — would produce a magnetosphere with eight-fold radial symmetry and would naturally appear in IR as a star, because the regions where the field compresses ambient plasma would be the bright points and the regions between would be cooler. The alternating arm length would correspond to alternating north/south polarity at adjacent lobes. The interesting analytical convergence
If you take the octupole-field interpretation seriously, it actually predicts the two features of PR38 that defeated the diffraction debunk:
•Eight points → fundamental octupole symmetry.
•Alternating arm length → mixed-multipole emitter (octupole + quadrupole), with primary thrust modes longer than trim modes.
And it predicts a third feature you’d want to look for in the actual video: the arms should remain phase-locked to the craft’s heading, not rotate with the apparent motion across the sensor frame. If somebody pulls a frame-by-frame and the arms maintain a fixed orientation relative to the direction of travel rather than fixed relative to the sensor frame, that would be a strong indicator of intrinsic field geometry rather than sensor artifact or random thermal blooming.
