This was my view when I raised it with Rich Greenfield last year. As growth plateaus, Netflix and Disney will look more like Amazon and YouTube, effectively replacing the MVPD model. Still early, but the direction is clear.

@awolk Can’t wait to read it. It’s ripe for subscription bundling by the platforms as well as the audience scales. The further we get away from it the more I find myself longing for the ease of the linear experience.
Mauro Ranallo & Josh Barnett did an incredible job calling the early NJPW on AXS shows and familiarizing new western audiences and even lapsed hardcore fans with the top names and styles that had changed dramatically in the last 15 years. We see now how hugely important that was
