Later today, the University of Wisconsin System Board of Regents is poised to raise tuition for the fourth year in a row – even after its top member recently said that such an increase would not be happening.
During an April 9 public hearing in front of the Senate Universities and Technical Colleges Committee, Board of Regents President Amy Blumenfeld Bogost was asked if the board was looking to boost tuition this year by 2 percent after approving a 5 percent hike the previous year.
Bogost testified before the Senate committee that “there is no tuition increase right now.”
This type of dishonesty is both troubling and problematic. I have to ask again: When is enough going to be enough?
If anything, this shows that parents need to take ownership of their child's education. If your school is not performing well, you have every right to find another or homeschool them yourself.
This is absolutely insane. In the last decade Milwaukee Public Schools fell behind an additional 1.5 grade levels in reading.
The district is now 3.6 grade levels behind in reading. That means your average 8th grader is functioning at a 4th to 5th grade level.
This is so out of touch from the president. We already have high enough gas prices from his war in Iran, and we're being more hostile to other nations that could help alleviate these gas prices?
Where is the 2016-2020 Trump? This is not peace through strength.
The fundamental unit of all civilizations is the family. This simple graph should be a lot scarier than what it is likely to be perceived. We're losing our civilization fast!

Perhaps the best message on truth and love.
You can tell the truth with love, and you can love while telling the truth.
If you have fifteen minutes, I'd definitely recommend listening

This is probably one of the most disheartening articles I've read in a long while. Britain is literally killing itself from the womb and punishing those who do wish to have families.
Is this what we want in America?
This beautiful young girl was one of the murdered students at Brown University. It takes special courage to lead an organization of conservatives on a left wing campus, and I am very sorry our country has lost one of its bright young stars.
Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord.
Had the time to read the gospel tonight.
Ive been reading the old testament all year, and now looking back at the gospel at Xmas has given me appreciation for my growth this past year. Faith is something that has to be pursued, but it's beautiful
Eduard Habsburg was the biggest reason I downloaded X after his interview with Michael Knowles when his book got published. I bought both his books, and wish him all the best at his next endeavor.
Maybe your next job could be king of Austria?
On this my last day as Ambassador of 🇭🇺 Hungary to the 🇻🇦 Holy See, my thoughts and thanks go to my fantastic team at the Embassy!
Dear colleagues, thank you very much for all the hard work and all the help!❤️❤️
I’m both so happy and proud to announce that Turning Point USA-Beloit College Chapter is officially a recognized club on our campus.
I want to thank @RepVanOrden, @FoxNews, @JoshSchoemann, and @storydlife for their help and hard work in securing this step towards a change towards a greater campus experience.
Stay tuned to see special events, stories, and more…👀
@LabarreShi35906@ArmstrongS84831@StacyKnaus@JohnRigheimer@ChristinaEsten9 I'm one to talk, having been first elected age 18 a month before I graduated, but the young wing of the party is very different from the old guard, and that's not a bad thing.
Give credit to where credit is due, and scruitny where scrutiny is due. Im curious what Alphonso offers
Statement from Sen. Fetterman’s Spokesperson:
“During an early morning walk, Senator Fetterman sustained a fall near his home in Braddock.
Out of an abundance of caution, he was transported to a hospital in Pittsburgh.
Upon evaluation, it was established he had a ventricular fibrillation flare-up that led to Senator Fetterman feeling light-headed, falling to the ground and hitting his face with minor injuries.
Senator Fetterman had this to say: ‘If you thought my face looked bad before, wait until you see it now!’
He is doing well and receiving routine observation at the hospital. He has opted to stay so doctors can fine-tune his medication regimen.
Senator Fetterman is grateful for the EMTs, doctors, and nurses who are providing his care.”
I just personally handed Superintendent Underly copies of my proposed bills that criminalize grooming and require schools to have policies defining appropriate communication standards between employees and minors. Looking forward to her testimony in public hearings.
Talked faith, family, and freedom, and what it means to be raised as a Gen Z Conservative. Would defineatly recommend hearing this podcast with a very good friend of mine, @LabarreShi35906#Genzconservative
