@tojulius@NorthstarMeets@cvent Or is this just saying the task of planning virtual events is going to a different function in organizations?
Will virtual events be the domain of event planners or marketers or culture/community?
@tojulius I wonder if they are all correct? Maybe this will help create some differentiation/specialization in the event tech world which would benefit everyone
@tojulius Listen on vinyl at home (watch a prerecorded YouTube video), see a show when my favorite band is in town (small, local, in-person), or attend a festival and discover something new (out of town conference).
@tojulius I think the learning was virtual 3D environments presented in a 2D medium/display was what people reacted to so negatively. 3D environment in a 3D medium of VR might be different.
@miguelseven Primary question: What links in my chain can fail and in what ways?
Then for each of those plan a desired 'fix' and the communication required to organizer and to the audience.
I will email our template over to you as well.
@EricTopol How does number of shots vs remaining population unvaccinated compare over this time period? Meaning: how does the trend of ‘% of non-vaccinated people getting their first shot’ look in the recent weeks?
@HillmanEvents@atnguyen@lindsaythecmp@EPBreakShit Agree this a key question. And I’m not sure they really need/want anything beyond the basic. Production values definitely matter but we haven’t seen demand (from the attendees) for advanced features in a platform. But tons of demand for ease of use.
@tojulius@Swapcard I wonder how this balance between virtual/hybrid/face to face looked in Jan 2020? Are we in The Great Inversion of Events from in-person to virtual? Or will the pendulum swing back to 2019 approaches by 2022?
