@RossDav95430341@goodmaxxedfyre Not really. Before that, you need to determine reasonable consequences. In a decent society, anyone should be able to speak opinions without fear of physical consequences. And we don’t have to simply accept that stuff will happen, societies can exist that are beyond this.
@Johnnyaustin@ZubyMusic@Miss_Snuffy iPhone has some decent parent control features in which you can view screen time, block apps, websites, and view history. You can tailor your child’s experience with their phone to do what you think is best, but I don’t think many parents take the time to do so.
@ChrisPage_Boz The problem is that it’ll reflect in the sales. If it flops, it means less income and we could do with everything we can get at the moment. It’s not make or break but it’s not ideal if it doesn’t make its sales targets or if there’s a significant drop of compared to last season.
@JoelJackson89 It depends if (a) you have a buyer at a reasonable price, (b) the player wants to move or would happily sit to the side and see out their contract, and (c) you have enough funds to replace them while adding players and numbers to the squad.
@Regista10_@40_40vision To be fair, the owners left him in the shit in the summer window. He shouldn’t have had to take control of transfers in the way he did, no other manager had to. It’s been frustrating, but I do think everything stems from that shit-show summer.
@toonarmy_com They were all considered good with some inflated prices, but that seemed unavoidable in that window. For 2nd & 3rd choices and time constraints, it didn’t seem god awful business. I don’t think anyone was expecting just how poorly Elanga and Wissa would perform.
@nufc3000@DanLang12@talkSPORT He’s not solely to blame but he’s not without fault. You’ve got to take the broader context into account before throwing blame around.
@ScottGShore@HullyStephen@PIF_en The PIF needed to act in the summer to get us a suitable sporting director. The recruitment team & Howe shouldn’t have been put into the position they were in. Our shortlist of players was outstanding, but we didn’t have the correct person or pull to make those deals happen.
@S0uthernGe0rdie No, but a preseason with his new players would be helpful. Not having to take control of transfers because you don’t have a sporting director would be helpful. We need greater squad depth, we need time to adjust to European schedules which happens over seasons.
@XRPrometheus@NUFCEdge In this scenario, if you ignore Willock and the fact Gordon has been great for us overall, then ignore all context about the summer transfer window, that could be a fair point.
