I’ve come to realize that some people never recovered from the paranoid hypochondria that gripped the nation during Covid. Now they’ve just transferred it to other things. That’s the only way I can explain why so many grown men are suddenly acting so brittle and fragile like a can of beer might kill them. I couldn’t care less whether you drink alcohol or not. Do whatever floats your boat. But the idea that “there’s no safe amount” is just paranoid hysteria. A grown man should be embarrassed to hysterically claim that a glass of wine is “unsafe.” It actually is totally safe, by any reasonable definition of the word. But it seems we are not operating with a reasonable definition.
So it’s being reported that @AmazonMGMStudio is considering a hard reboot to the Stargate franchise!
Absolutely NO ONE wants this! I will actively boycott this!
I want a Stargate that feels like Stargate, not something directed at Gen Z women.
I am radicalized on this! It’s either Martin Gero or bust! I don’t want to see Stargate from someone who wasn’t involved in the original show. End of story.
@elsathora Atlantic Beach in Jacksonville, FL has the best 4th of July party. Everyone rides their bikes up and down the beach town all day while drinking.
I’m gonna simply say this: if you are at all interested in a Stargate show with ANY of the original creators/performers involved, now is the time to say something. Otherwise it really will be the end of that chapter forever. Let them know you are THERE
@Dermanater@ReviewsPossum@cryptovegan Winter and spring are absolutely pleasant near the beach with a cool breeze. Summer is scorching hot, high UV with very high humidity. If I want to run outside in the summer I need to time it with an evening rain shower. Inland Florida like Orlando is stuffier and even hotter.
I'm old enough to remember a garage door pull rope at a NASCAR event that supposedly "looked like a noose" and the SPLC came out the NEXT DAY calling it "the ultimate symbol of white supremacist violence used to murder black people."
It was always a hustle to them.
