Thanks for your critique, Janet. We actually tried a couple of episodes where House (Hugh Laurie) (please put the brackets in the right place) gets it right first time, but they were only 6 minutes long. NBC weren’t happy. Then we tried some where House never gets it right and the patient dies. The audience wasn’t happy.
One could apply your trenchant analysis to other art forms: JS Bach wrote 30 Goldberg variations on the same chord structure; Frida Kahlo painted 50 portraits of herself; Henry Moore, what??
The point is, or was, variations on a theme; if all you see is hospital, medical blah blah, then it wasn’t meant for you.
Nonetheless, I look forward to your first novel!
My grandfather was a POW at the Stalag VII camp in Bavaria because he was putting his life on the line to fight fascists.
His life was permanently altered.
…And this gigantic douche is playing fascist politics at Normandy.
Hegseth, you are a total and utter disgrace.
Oxford Union has decided to air our appearance virtually instead of in person on Saturday. Because they're allowing @hasanthehun and myself to speak, now their leader is being targeted in a smear campaign.
Will the same standards be applied to the Zionists? Have they condemned Israel's wanton terrorism? It doesn't just cause hurt feelings for Muslims, the government of Israel actually murders them tens of thousands at a time.
Now, they're saying if you complain about that, it's also antisemitic. So, if you're not in favor of Israel murdering your people, you're an antisemite? What kind of disgusting standard is this?
It is in indisputable fact that Israel has killed at least 70 times the number of civilians as Hamas, and their civilian kill ratio is higher than Hamas (Hamas is 67%, IDF is 83%).
Israel also does double taps to murder medical workers who show up to help the injured. So, there is no dispute that they target civilians on purpose.
So, is the definition of terrorism relevant? If it is, the IDF is one of the largest terrorist organizations in the world. Or is the word terrorism just used to smear Muslims and never applied to Israel, no matter how accurate it is?
I have no problem condemning the terrorism of Hamas, so will anyone be asked to condemn the terrorism of Israel as well? And isn't it weird that no one in traditional media has already asked this obvious question?
Will anyone ever be banned, canceled or be challenged by the so-called media if they support the obvious and empirical terrorism of Israel?
For people who plan to watch football in 2026 — you know, the year we’re currently having — I wrote this.
Right now, Eagles are worse without A.J. Brown https://t.co/YE0yGhDDGI
Maybe one day we'll find out (or not) what really happened with Brown and the Eagles.
One of their best players, yet both sides wanted out.
In cases like this, it's usually more than "just business."
Something personal went on here.
If we are being fair, despite how it ended, AJ Brown was one of the most dominant athletes I've ever had the pleasure of watching. When he was at his very best, he was as good as it gets. There's no way this Eagles project was as successful without that trade. He was a complete and utter superstar.
But all good things must come to an end. It was time.
