@DanWMcLean I agree. There's a lot of people who attend adults only events who are in recovery or don't use cannabis that need to be subjected to those who can't go a few hours without? Not to mention that it increases the likelihood of impaired driving. I say no to this.
@DanWMcLean Sounded like a bunch of catch phrases to justify a word salad but without giving an answer or clear explanation of anything the money is going to.
@DanWMcLean The state of the roads in Calgary is another example why City Administration must be held accountable. The entire upkeep of city infrastructure has been neglected in favour of pet projects to nowhere. Council needs to start focusing on what we need instead of what is wanted.
@JyotiGondek Why are you willing to raise taxes again using the water repairs as an excuse? What did the city do with the tax money you've collected for years and did nothing?
Why aren't the city administration and council being held accountable? You will be in the next election!
@DanWMcLean One of the original consideration I advocated for during the 2017 civic campaign was starting with the BRT that could run along the green line and also west to connect with a lrt extension from Somerset station to 210 station. Would have been less money and done sooner
@JyotiGondek The Green line, although good in theory, was mismanaged by a short sighted municipal council again. When will someone in Administration and council be held accountable for mismanaged transit and water system debacle? We're left with a big tax bill and no better infrastructure
@DanWMcLean Someone needs to be held accountable on the administration side and the Mayor needs to pay at the ballot next year. I'm sure she's going to delay release of the review until after the election so she can deny accountability on the water crisis this year. Hold her accountable.
@DanWMcLean Constructive feedback and pushback on behalf of the constituents are why you're elected. Thanks for doing that.
When will someone from administration be held accountable for their failure one infrastructure management and maintenance?
@DanWMcLean I never understood why Council's in the past 9 years never thought about how costs increase for these big projects and keep pouring good money after bad decisions. Financial incompetence.
@CommonSenseYYC The city is bound and determined to meet the original August deadline to get water service back to normal. What the hell did you expect but for water use to increase over stampede? Tourists don't give a damn about the city's inability to handle a crisis.
@MarkHorejsi@broadwaybabyto People were getting upset about what the kids were being exposed to, just when a perfectly simple children's book was being read to them in a library. Then they are ok with this message to the same kids. What?, indeed π€£π§π€£
As we meet today with those closest to our hearts, my hope is that people remember that the spirit of Christmas should be felt and more importantly demonstrated every day. In that way, we become active participants of the love we are meant to spread to those who need it most. π²
