Today’s vote is a blatant power grab by the legislature. It kicks the will of the people to the curb. The Legislature has turned itself into its own judge and jury—they want to make and break the laws as they please, with no regard for the wishes of Utahns. This isn’t leadership—it’s a disgrace. We must fight back against this abuse of power and restore the integrity of our democratic process. I will not stand by while our rights are trampled.

This year, you don’t just get to vote for leaders who listen—you get to vote ‘no’ on this outrageous power grab. It’s time to send a clear message: we won’t stand for this type of corruption. Get ready to work together and stand up for the democracy that’s worth fighting for. Together, we can turn this injustice around, hold these politicians accountable, and elect leaders who respect the Constitution and the people’s will.
