@SamHerderFCS What’s the buyout for Montana to skip the return game? The Griz liked to buyout the return trips to the Dakotas when they were moving up to FCS.
@NDSUBISONATION8@Tanner_Castora@mgronowski11 He has an engineering degree to fall back on…even if he to sell cars, he’d possibly be the top-selling salesperson in the upper Midwest…
@BisonWire@NDSUwbb You’re more deserving than a P4 team that goes 7-11 in conference play and gets bounced in the first round of the conference tournament.
@605inMN@ItsThumper76 Yeah, MBB was a rough season for Jackrabbit Nation. As for FB, winning by a TD at home against a 3rd string QB doesn’t count as your finest hour. Stick with the playoff win at Mercer as your season high point…
@OhioTate You don’t go .500 in conference play, you shouldn’t be able to qualify for an at-large bid. That would be the first rule I’d make if I was CBB commissioner…
@_undertherock_@IceBorg JSD probably made the request to reduce the likelihood of weather impacting the game…lol…part of me wants a Halloween blizzard just to spite the handful of JSD fans…
@Seth_Himself@_undertherock_@IceBorg I would suggest the MVFC save its three Dakota games for November, but then SDSU fans would complain most seasons about playing UND and USD in back-to-back weeks…
@RyanMDowning The revised schedule had to give the week 1 bye to SDSU because the Jacks scheduled a game against Eastern Illinois on that date (everyone else still had a bye) before the Bison jumped the cliff…otherwise, the Jacks would have two games to fill…
@IceBorg SDSU fans are still annoyed that USD never had to make up for the lost COVID game at DJDS in 2021. Making SDSU play a second straight game in Vermillion for the second time
In a decade would probably just jump-start the SDSU fan base’s desire to move to FBS…2/2
@IceBorg I would think that advance notice would have been given about this situation. The MVFC likely wanted the three Dakota schools to be a one-home, one-away pod for scheduling balance and felt the need to implement it this season…1/2
@NdsuToFBS I think the appetite for serious FargoDome upgrades will be virtually zilch if there’s a plan to replace it within 10 years. I’m guessing that there is already a plan in the works to have a new stadium in place by 2032, which the NDSU AD as stated is the next pivot year in CFB…
@SloSHO@SdsuDrake I’m 90% convinced that SDSU had to choose between a road game in Vermillion or a road game in Grand Forks once the MVFC had to redo its schedule…2/2
@SloSHO@SdsuDrake I’d blame Western Illinois and Missouri State for that one…the conference should have just left that part of the rotation alone this year and fixed it next season. No respectable football conference would have a team travel to another three years in a row. 1/2
