I still lean back on some of the fundamentals taught, even now in my role as an SO3. I dare say that the broad TO’s on C3S SNCO and WO cse’s contribute to the success of C3S soldiers on SSB and LEOC.

@BO3673 LECAB is gone, LE TOS are going, but I think the ‘term’ LE will live on. ‘Grumpy SSE’ doesn’t have the same ring to it. Having only commissioned this year, I’m excited to see how the transition to a single TOS will unfold. Will it be mandatory or an offer to transfer (OTT)?

@ADodson80 @troop_ultra We’re they blameworthy? If so, I’d argue the mess provided a vehicle for outing someone of poor character that shouldn’t have been in such a prominent position. Had a mess not existed, they may have continued on and done something untoward when most dangerous i.e. on tour.

Soldiers/officers will fuck up. If not in the relative safety of a mess environment where there are rules and a standard of personal conduct, then in the accommodation, an illegal Sqn Bar or down town.

@BatleyPeter I feel your pain. Wife and I have done over a dozen viewings so far and every time, either I love it, she hates it or vice versa. Defo need a compromise. Must be harder with the kids. So many times it’s not lived up to the Rightmove/online description or photos.
