and book more appointments.
100 calls/day with GOOD research is more than enough.
NOBODY does enough research on cold calls.
the key to booking appointments
is making it sound as non-salesy as possible.
"Hey [Name], I can see you're hiring 3 SDRs
that are working remotely, and starting on the 4th of Jan? Is that right?
[continue normal conversation from there]"
the prospect will barely even notice he's talking to a salesman.
appointments booked through cold calling
should be brought in with shock factor/curiosity.
either punch them with something too good to be true,
or sell the idea of gaining more information with the closer.
SDRs need product knowledge, yes,
but don't waste your energy learning things that you'll never say to a prospect anyway.
focus on your pitch & stay as close to it as possible.
