@MarkSchwab I think the issue is that Monken isn’t what they wanted or what their selection process recommended. He was, in essence, a compromise candidate buoyed by the notion of keeping Schwartz. Now it appears they’ll get their 2nd preferred HC option (at best) and still lose Schwartz
@BenAxelrod Some of y'all really struggle with reading. "second-best WR of all-time *when he retired.*"
When Carter retired after the 02 season, he was something like 4th in yards and 2nd in career Receptions & TDs.
@BillSimmons What a stupid, contrived take. Outdoor games in the elements are a hugely important component of home field advantage and absolutely should be preserved (if teams so desire). But stop pretending like that game was anything other than microwaved booty cheeks.
@realjohnwalker I don't really see it as all that different than what's happened to your traditional TV news channels. Overtime, market demand for plain, "boring" facts and analysis gave way to wall-to-wall programming based around commentary and opinions. Yeah it sucks, but we've seen it before
@MySportsUpdate This press conference really puts into perspective the real reason the Bills haven't gotten over the hump. Something about front offices in NY I guess..
@ErmanniMedia You’re not alone. I said the same thing watching the games. But I also fully understand that this is often what home field advantage means and much as a I prefer clean indoors ball? Gotta preserve this
@frankmikesmith I mean, i think I get the point you’re trying to make, but please note: it IS dumb. What you’ve shown is Tomlin added an ENTIRELY new starting OL, Harrison, Keisel, Woodley, and the Super Bowl MVP from that win. But yes, the entire roster didn’t turn over in just 4yrs. Good call
@MySportsUpdate Wonder what manner of protest he'll choose to employ when his NFL team misses the playoffs? No additional games to rage-quit from at the next level.
@ThePoniExpress This is fine, I guess, but can we stop pretending like a playoff win on Monday was going to change anything? This franchise hasn't had a Super Bowl caliber roster in years--certainly didn't this year--so what was 1 playoff win going to matter?
@grantpaulsen You're exactly--EXACTLY--correct. I'm honestly not sure that the NFL, the Jaguars, or the Jacksonville local media circuit recovers from this. I'm livid that this took time away from getting MORE of Cohen's thoughts on Josh Allen's performance and competitiveness.
@bepryor It is the job of reporters to suck the joy out of life? Cause that's kind of what you guys are doing with this. It's WAY TOO MUCH acting like she committed some grave act or wasted "limited time." She's not the problem. I wasn't convinced there was one at all til these reactions.
