I had an engaging meeting with H.E. Robert Abisoghomonyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia.

I expressed appreciation for Armenia’s strong partnership with @UNODC and its active engagement across our intergovernmental processes, including its leadership as Chair of the 69th session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs.

We also explored ways to expand cooperation going forward, and I reaffirmed UNODC’s commitment to supporting Armenia in strengthening secure and effective border management, as its role in regional trade and connectivity continues to grow.

🇺🇳 @UN General Assembly unanimously adopted the resolution “Education for Peace”, initiated by #Armenia 🇦🇲 & co-sponsored by around 100 Member States from all regional groups.

The resolution highlights the vital role of education in building peaceful, inclusive societies & promoting a culture of peace & non-violence.
