We have wound up this week's #NUPCountryWideTour activities with a trip to Soroti District in Teso, Eastern Uganda.

Our message to the people of Teso has been one of change and a promise of justice and economic empowerment once Uganda has decisively dealt with dictator Museveni and his corrupt clique! We are grateful for the warmth and enthusiasm with which we have been received in Soroti!

We spent the day at Kitalya Prison to check on our comrades who are detained there for close to two years. These include part of the 32 who were denied bail by the military court this week, as well as many who were picked up for putting on red berets in 2020.
