"Adams Dash"

In July '22 a group of friends are cycling London to Paris over 4 days in memory of Adam, who lost his battle with a Brain Tumour 2 days before Christmas 2019.

All here at Team Adam are very aware of the diagnosis, the treatment, and of course the turmoil which cancer can bring. We are all thinking of Catherine, The Princess of Wales as she and her family go through the motions. We wish her well in her treatment and recovery ❤️‍🩹

@shitscaredmum My stepson died 4 years ago this December with a Grade 4 tumour. More and more people are being affected and we need to know why. That’s why in Adam’s memory we have done a lot of fundraising for @braintumourrsch x

Over the weekend, Team Adam took part in the Cycle for Cynthia event in Northampton. A fantastic evening was had on Saturday followed by the cycling event at Holdenby Hall on Sunday. We had riders in both the 25 & 50 mile events! Well done to all that took part, you are epic!!

@braintumourrsch Please please help by signing the petition. It’s a fine limited task and we ask you to support this for those who have not yet been diagnosed or are just starting their journey with this awful disease. This is their life we are trying to save and every little help (sorry Tesco!)

@braintumourrsch This is the tumour which we lost my stepson and my mother in law too. They say it’s rare and aggressive yet not hereditary so how come two members of the same family had it? #braintumourssuck!

Team Adam are currently washing their bikes & their legs. The next event is only 7 weeks away, which I believe the majority of the team are taking part in! This event is for a hospice called Cynthia Spencer.

A fantastic day, yesterday, was had by Team Adam, getting to see some of le Tour coming in by the Louvre. We also managed to see the ride continue as the riders headed through one of the tunnels nearby. It was a fantastic experience seeing them all come through together!

So not long now till the Tour passes us here at le Louvre. Team Adam however, gave them two weeks head start and finished before the tour!! We have great a great spot to see the riders through - photos to follow ….🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♀️
