#GodofWarRagnarok#animation
@PoodleTime Killer, loved how fluid the combat felt, I can tell the tassels on her sword took a long time to master the shape language and vfx's.
Also that spinning dive kick she does, that was the anim that sent shivers down my spine. Next level animation, congrats David and the team!!
@Geki_CP Damnnn you animated Thanos? That’s awesome, yeah I can see that tip working great. The best mocap actors I’ve worked with seem to reference specific martial arts too. I’ll say give me an axe kick, and they’re like, oh like Muay Tai or karate?
I went from animating one muscular man who brutally kills his enemies to the other😅
Kratos and Wolverine are pretty similar in terms of combat animation style, just one of them is a disciplined soldier, and the other is an animal🐗

@Geki_CP haha I like that, proud barbarian is a good description. Yeah that's been tricky, because the animation style is still very grounded, so we don't want Wolverine too animalistic, like on all fours and biting. So think hugh jackman but a little more animal
@Geki_CP Good question, for one, Kratos tries to stay very upright, always facing the enemy, with strong balance in his footing. Wolverine crouches a lot, and puts all his weight forward with every hit. This difference in footing took some time to get used to!
