The Cowboy Callout
Corruption, Cowboy Cosplay, and Competence: The Real Choice in the 8th District
With Marine vet Evan Munsing dropping out of the CO-08 Democratic primary, voters are left with a truly stellar choice between two absolute trainwrecks. The former Marine saw the writing on the wall, calling out Washington insiders for bankrolling career politicians and essentially confirming that Bird and Rutinel are exactly what's wrong with the system. 🍿
On one hand, you’ve got Shannon Bird, founder of the "Opportunity Caucus" which is currently engulfed in one of the largest ethics investigations in Colorado’s history. Great branding there, Shannon.
On the other hand, you’ve got Manny Rutinel, a literal PETA activist who has spent his time trying to wreck Colorado's cattle industry with insane policies—though he's suddenly trying really hard to play dress-up and pretend he’s a cowboy. 🤠❌
So, the 8th District gets to choose between a corrupt establishment favorite, a PETA activist in a cowboy hat, or Gabe Evans: a cop, a proven leader, and the actual adult in the room. Decisions, decisions.

🚨 BIG SNOW MELT MAKES BUDGETS GO BYE‑BYE IN COLORADO SKI VILLAGES 🚨
A record-shattering dry winter has starved Colorado’s mountain slopes of snow, triggering an immediate economic crisis across iconic ski towns like Vail, Breckenridge, and Steamboat Springs. With ski resorts forced to shut down weeks ahead of schedule, taxable sales revenues have plummeted—dropping by as much as 10% in Vail and nearly 9% in Breckenridge.
Because these municipalities rely on winter tourism for up to half of their entire annual budgets, the financial bleeding is forcing immediate, aggressive budget cuts. Towns are now freezing municipal hiring, halting public transit expansions, and bracing for a brutal summer of high wildfire risks, shortened rafting seasons, and lower river flows.
The Sharp Conclusion: The Price of Progressive Priorities
Make no mistake: Mother Nature may have dealt the opening blow with a dry winter, but Democrat tax-and-spend policies are guaranteed to turn this bad season into an economic catastrophe for hardworking, local Americans.
Taxed to the Brink: Mountain residents and businesses are already suffocating under a high-tax, high-fee environment engineered by state Democrats. Now that the tourism pipeline has dried up, locals are left holding the bag, watching their tax dollars vanish while facing reduced municipal services and frozen community jobs.
Funding Non-Citizens Over Locals: While Colorado mountain towns are forced to "surgically" slash budgets, freeze infrastructure, and halt bus services for their own citizens, the state’s progressive leadership continues to heavily prioritize and fund resource-intensive programs for illegal aliens.
The Price of Sabotage: Colorado Democrats have actively chosen to allocate massive state resources toward supporting non-citizens, leaving actual American taxpayers completely exposed when hardship strikes. The families living in these mountains are now literally paying the price for Denver's policy sabotage—left to weather an economic winter with thinning budgets and zero safety net.

TESTING IS BAD SO LET'S ALL JUST BE STUPID NOW I GUESS!!! 😂📉
The progressive experiment of dropping the SAT in the name of "equity" has officially crashed and burned.
Six years after California Democrats and Gavin Newsom pushed to scrap standardized testing across the University of California system to satisfy woke narratives, UC faculty are finally sounding the alarm. A staggering new letter signed by over 750 STEM professors reveals that dropping the test didn't remove barriers—it just hid them, resulting in massive grade inflation and students entering top-tier universities completely unprepared.
Colorado followed this exact same disastrous blueprint in 2021 when its Democrat-led legislature permanently stripped standardized testing requirements for state college admissions, setting local students up for the same inevitable academic decline.
Look at the disastrous results of these Democratic policies:
👉 At UC San Diego, there has been a 30-fold increase since 2020 in freshmen with math skills below the high-school level.
👉 1 in 12 UC San Diego freshmen now lack basic middle-school math skills—even though 94% of them received an "A-" average in high school!
👉 At UC Berkeley, 20-30% of first-semester calculus students have displayed severe preparation deficits for three straight years.
Instead of fixing the broken, union-run public schools that are failing minority students, Democrats like Newsom chose to lower the bar entirely so they could hide the educational disparities. Now, professors are forced to reteach middle-school math in college science and engineering courses.
When you prioritize identity politics over merit and actual readiness, everyone loses. It’s time to stop the progressive madness, stop setting students up for failure, and bring back the SAT.

Tax-and-Regulate Democrats Stopped by Their Own Governor
Once again, Colorado Democrats prove that their first instinct is always to tax more, regulate more, and overreach into the everyday lives of citizens. In a stunning display of their own party's dysfunction, Democratic Governor Jared Polis had to step in and veto four massive overreach bills pushed through by state lawmakers.
What did the out-of-touch Democratic majority try to pull this time?
❌ HB 1418: Tried to slap a 5% tax on video game purchases.
❌ HB 1255: Attempted to micromanage social media platforms, posing a serious threat to free speech and creating a "chilling effect" on public discourse.
❌ HB 1286: Attempted to block safer, innovative self-driving vehicle technology on our roads.
❌ They even tried to slash $1.75 million in funding for children’s programs like the Boys and Girls Club.
When your own governor has to issue a stack of vetoes to protect free speech, consumers' wallets, and basic innovation from his own party, you know the legislative majority has lost the plot. Coloradans deserve leaders focused on real solutions, not non-stop taxes and government overreach.

🇺🇸 THE AMERICAN REPLACEMENT: How Corporations Abuse the System to Displace Local Talent 🇺🇸
Every year, the federal government hands out roughly 140,000 employment-based green cards. But here is the chilling truth: our system has been fundamentally warped. Instead of filling genuine shortages, it has become a mechanism for massive corporations to import cheap labor, suppress wages, and bypass qualified American workers.
We are told America lacks the talent to fill high-tech, healthcare, and finance jobs. That is a myth. The reality? American workers are being actively replaced by a system they are paying to maintain.
📉 The Supply, Demand, and Wage Trap
When corporations have a virtually endless pipeline of foreign labor, standard market economics break down. Instead of raising wages to attract skilled American workers—as a healthy, competitive market dictates—companies simply abuse "dual intent" visas (like H-1B and L) and green card sponsorships.
By flooding the market with imported, low-cost labor, big tech and corporate giants artificially inflate the labor supply. This destroys the bargaining power of the American worker, drives down wages across entire industries, and leaves local talent out in the cold.
🛑 America HAS the Talent
The narrative that we don’t have the domestic skill base is a corporate excuse to justify lower labor costs. Our universities, communities, and cities are brimming with hungry, highly capable citizens. Yet, because the system has been heavily exploited by employers who sponsor far more foreign nationals than the legal limits even allow—creating a massive backlogged queue—local workers are being locked out of the very careers they trained for.
❓ 3 Critical Questions That Need Answers
Why is the Department of Labor allowing companies to certify "labor shortages" when thousands of qualified Americans are struggling to find work in these exact fields?
If these visa programs were truly meant to be temporary, why are they being used as a permanent, systemic tool to underbid American salary standards?
Why hasn't Congress updated these archaic 1990 statutory frameworks to prioritize the protection and economic mobility of native-born citizens first?
🚨 The Ultimate Bottom Line
How many American workers do these immigrants displace? While the exact number of displaced citizens is masked by corporate lobbying and complex multi-step federal processing, the reality is clear: 75% of these permanent employment-based green cards are awarded to individuals already living and working in the U.S. labor market. They are occupying roles that could—and should—be filled by our own citizens.
How can Americans expected to compete when we are actively importing our own replacements? It's time to put American workers first, end corporate exploitation, and demand a system that rewards domestic talent.

🚨 The Legal Eagles Have Failed Colorado: Why It’s Time for a Real Change 🚨
The latest Colorado gubernatorial forum just laid bare the absolute mess that eight years of unchecked, one-party Democratic rule has made of our state. Even the Democrats themselves can’t hide from their failures anymore!
📉 The Hard Truth About Colorado's Decline
Under the current leadership, Colorado has gone from a economic powerhouse to an unaffordable, anti-business crater. The stats don't lie:
Mass Exodus: Businesses and families are fleeing the state for the first time since the 1980s.
Empty Cities: Denver is now the third-least affordable and the "emptiest" large city in the country.
Red Tape Nightmare: AG Phil Weiser literally admitted that Colorado businesses are expanding to Oklahoma because our bloated bureaucracy takes months or years to approve permits that take Oklahoma just days!
❌ The Democratic Hypocrisy
During the forum, U.S. Senator Michael Bennet actually said it best: Colorado needs a leader, not a lawyer. But let’s look at the irony: Both Michael Bennet and Phil Weiser are career lawyers! They are the exact definition of the out-of-touch, red-tape-loving politicians who created this crisis. Bennet complains about "unintended consequences" of laws, yet his own party rammed through disastrous AI regulations and massive energy mandates that are driving up costs. They talk about "can-do leadership" while drowning Colorado job-creators in a regulatory flood.
🛡️ Republicans Offer the Real Solutions
Thankfully, the Republican platform at the forum proved that the party has the backbone, experience, and vision needed to get Colorado back on track. Instead of offering more of the same, the Republican approach focuses on immediate, common-sense relief for families and job creators:
Slashing Bureaucracy & Restoring Fiscal Sanity: The Republican strategy promises to immediately claw back overly burdensome regulations on Day One, providing the stability and predictability businesses need to invest here again. By focusing on cutting government spending rather than raising corporate taxes, they will protect Colorado's economic competitiveness and fix a struggling education system.
Outsider Competence & Taxpayer Protection: Bringing vital private-sector perspective to the table, the Republican approach addresses the housing affordability crisis head-on without expanding government. Crucially, they are fully committed to protecting the Taxpayer's Bill of Rights (TABOR), ensuring that politicians cannot raise taxes without a direct vote from the people.
The Bottom Line: We don’t need more lawyer-politicians over-regulating our economy and driving up utility bills with unrealistic energy mandates. We need strong, common-sense Republican leadership to open Colorado for business again. 💼🏔️
"Fighting Trump" isn't a strategy—it's a cop-out, and that's exactly what Bennet and Weiser are doing
