FBI Milwaukee's Eau Claire and Wausau Resident Agencies arrested 32-year-old Alejandra Sanchez-Cuaquehua with the assistance of @ICEgov today in Ridgeland, Wisconsin.

She is wanted for a 2025 murder in Mexico and was arrested for illegal reentry in the Western District of Wisconsin on a criminal complaint.

Sanchez-Cuaquehua made her initial appearance on the illegal reentry charge in federal court in Madison. Following the hearing, she was taken into custody by @ICEgov to be returned to Mexico.

The charge against Sanchez-Cuaquehua was the result of an investigation conducted by the FBI Milwaukee, the Barron County Sheriff’s Office, @ICEgov, @EROChicago and other international law enforcement partners.

FBI Milwaukee in conjunction with @ICEgov, @EROChicago, and @CBP apprehended and arrested a 37-year-old citizen of the Democratic Republic of Congo last week in Wisconsin.

The subject is a suspected member of the Gangster Disciples gang in Milwaukee. He has an extensive criminal history including convictions for drug offenses, battery, attempted armed robbery, and probation violation, as well as multiple pending charges for bail jumping, vehicle theft, assault, and child sex assault.

The subject will face extradition from the United States.

ICE @EROChicago officers arrested Erik Giovanni-Guiroa, 41, a criminal illegal alien from Guatemala April 22. He was convicted for aggravated battery with a firearm and aggravated sexual abuse of a child. Giovanna-Quiroa was sentenced to a combined 19 years in prison.

Giovanni-Quiroa then further endangered the community by attempting to flee from justice in a vehicle. "Our community is safer today because this dangerous, violent criminal who sexually abused a child is off the street," said ICE Chicago Field Office Director Tammy Marich.

@EROCHICAGO issued a detainer for Alberto Vazquez-Hernandez, a criminal illegal alien from Mexico who posed a dangerous threat to Bowling Green, Kentucky for over a decade. He was most recently arrested for sexual abuse and burglary, offenses that fall under the Laken Riley Act.

@EROChicago arrested Minh Tieu, a criminal illegal alien from Vietnam convicted of murder and sentenced to 45 years in prison. After serving over 25 years, Tieu refused to comply with Alternatives to Detention conditions and was tracked via his ankle monitor in Fort Wayne, IN.

This week, #FBI Milwaukee assisted @ICEgov, @EROChicago, along with @CBP, @DEACHICAGODiv in the apprehension of an international fugitive.

The subject is a 37-year-old male citizen of India with a foreign warrant from India on charges of rape, cheating, fraud, outraging the modesty of a woman, and abetment to suicide.

The subject was originally admitted to the United States on August 15, 2024, for a temporary period not to exceed February 14, 2025, on a B2 Visa, which is a non-immigrant visa allowing a visitor to temporarily travel for pleasure.
