@EddieComeaux No one should be punished/treated wrongfully just because of the color of ones skin and SRO shouldn't be lingering on campus especially K-12 b/c it puts more fear than safety into minority students. SRO should only be called in when neccessary. School is not jail! #racialjustice

It feels as if organizations only see minority SA as sport-educated & physical while the whites are praised for being educated both mentally and physically. SA juggle alot but Influencing SA to take less demanding majors/classes in which they have no interest in just so they can be awarded grades with little to no effort to maintain eligibility isnt fair. Academics are just as important as sports.#ucr150 @rabea_qamar @MisssNallely

The 4-4 transfer makes it difficult for athletes to transfer and some may face penalties if they want to transfer. Their freedom is restricted when it comes to transfering and that isn't fair. Something should be done who agrees? #ucr150 @MisssNallely @rabea_qamar

Concussions are serious & most symptoms aren't visible. However, some coaches don't treat athletes with concussions seriously leading them to sweep things under the rug and throw the players back in the game too soon. #ucr150 @MisssNallely @rabea_qamar

Title IX is set out to promote gender equality in higher edu which is a good thing however why does Title IX not require the same amount of $ spent on both men and women when it comes to sports? Does this equality/title have restrictions? #ucr150 @MisssNallely @rabea_qamar

They can barely make simple decisions like what food they want to eat let alone something that going to decide their entire future. @BCARD38139413 @rabea_qamar I feel like athletics are just profit and are replaceable. If an athlete gets hurt they just replace them so the game goes on meaning that's more money in their pockets. The NCAA "purchases" athletes. Some coaches refer to their players as their "property" which can be read as (coach = a slave owner). Are athletes just a profit? Is it all about the money/monopoly power? Is sports the modern day slavery? #UCR150 @rabea_qamar @MisssNallely

@RMendez032 @rabea_qamar @MisssNallely @helloJuJudy I feel like you're right. The programs such as the ones listed in your post should provide all SA's with personal behavioral health therapist along with other mental health services in order to keep SA's mentally stable. #Ucr150
