@Whitehughes @PearsonEdexcel @DrFrostResource @mathsgenie @ALMathsRevision Thanks for a prompt reply… I agree it doest help students understand but rather confuse them. The MS uses two tailed test on the bases that it it doesn’t say increase or decrease.
I think one of the critical value is 69 for a two tailed test. What would be the critical region?

In recent assessments our data for year 7 and 8 looks worrying in comparison to the cohort two years ago. The impact of lockdowns and disruption to learning is clearly visible. Any ideas of interventions are welcome @PearsonEdexcel @PearsonEdexcel @Just_Maths @MathsHubLdnCNW
