After more than 5.5 years of working in the industry, it’s time!

The last 3.5 years at Google have been nothing short of incredible. As an engineer, I’ve learned and grown in ways I never imagined. But more than just code, I silently observed: how product managers led, how leaders made decisions, how great products were built. And in that silence, I learned. I evolved. Not just as an engineer, but as someone quietly preparing to build something of their own.

That “something” is @takeUforward_ , which started as a passion and now touches nearly 1 million learners. And today, I’ve decided — it’s time to go all in.

I’m calling it a day at Google.

Where next? I’ll be taking up TUF full time (Engineering, Content, and Growth).
Why now? Because life gave me two roads, and I had to choose one.

I won’t be putting out any video around this. I’ve never been great at that type of content.

The next video you see from me will be on YouTube, teaching System Design — something I’ve longed to do but never had the time for.

The last 5 years have been intense: 13–14 hours almost every single day. Juggling a full-time job, content creation, and building a startup from scratch. In the process, I’ve let my health slip, distanced myself from people who matter, and ignored the small joys that make life worth living.

Now, as I step into the next phase, on the other side of my 20s, I want to reclaim some of that balance. I still want to grind, but not at the cost of my body, my people, or my peace.

I’m at a stage in life where two roads lie ahead, like many of you will face one day. I’ve chosen the predictable one, just like most of you do at every stage of life: to build what’s already working, to double down on what gives me financial stability, freedom, longevity, and above all, allows me to spend each day doing what I love: engineering and teaching.

I leave Google with nothing but gratitude in my heart.
For the people I met.
For the culture I thrived in.
For everything it taught me.
I will always look back at this chapter with a smile.
