A lot of hard work over the last 4 years!

[Cardinal Football @HoisHSFootball]

Couple of past cardinals doing a great job for FHSU’s defense. Always awesome to see past players be gracious with their time and make a young kids day. If you get a chance swing up to Hays and watch some really good football.

A couple of Cardinals ( # 32 Legend Robinson and # 92 Caiden Hoffman) playing big roles in FHSU week 1 win. Couldn’t be more proud of these two.

Still plenty of time to get signed up. There are camp forms at the Activity Center Office. Looking forward to seeing all the future Cardinals

Consistency Under Zach Baird, Hoisington Football, 2A

Zach Baird took over as head coach in 2014, and from 2014 through 2025 he has delivered 12 straight winning seasons for Hoisington. The Cardinals are 9-0 this season, continuing one of the most consistent runs you will find in Kansas high school football.

Hoisington under Baird has produced double-digit win seasons, deep postseason runs, a 2A state title appearance in 2020 and 2023, and top-tier competitiveness every single year. No losing seasons, no fall-off, just steady, disciplined, winning football.

Every season under Baird:
2025, 9-0
2024, 6-5
2023, 12-1
2022, 8-3
2021, 8-2
2020, 12-1
2019, 11-1
2018, 9-3
2017, 7-4
2016, 12-1
2015, 11-1
2014, 9-2

Twelve seasons, twelve winning records, one of the most consistent and respected small-school football programs in Kansas. Huge sectional showdown with Garden Plain.

Hoisington (3A, 3-0) senior QB Mason Martin has helped guide the Cardinals to an undefeated start in 2025, including a big win over Southwestern Heights last Friday. Martin went off for 225 passing yards and 5 TDs in the victory. The Cardinals will look to keep their momentum rolling as they travel to Cheney this week under head coach Zach Baird. #sportsinkansas
