During a recent reform advisory forum on improving ease of doing business in #Ethiopia, 94% of the participants affirmed the importance of partial #outsourcing of #ConstructionPermit services in #Addis as an alternative solution, and 69% of them deemed it urgent.

βLegacy is not leaving something for people. Itβs leaving something in people.β - Peter Strople. Taking part in the #GreenLegacy2021 initiative with friends and colleagues in #Addis, the impact & joy we experienced was much bigger than our small contribution to the #Environment.
The program greatly increases the quality of buildings in the #CityOfAddis by creating the platform whereby project consultants present their works to peers in the industry & gain additional design feedback & inputs that go beyond mandatory Building Code compliance requirements.
The project architect is BIGAR BUILDERS AND DEVELOPERS in collaboration with an international firm specialized in hospital design. @AddisConPermit commends #BIGAR for presenting and facilitating a public discussion on their work at such a high level professional gathering.
#RohaAdvancedMultiSpecialityHospital is planned to house 5 hospitals all together with a total of 1,100 beds. The site is 2.8 hectares of land & the first phase has 8,000 sq.mts foot print, while 80% of the site will be leave open as Green Park space.
We crossed a milestone at Addis Ababa's municipal service today, launching an open-house architectural design peer-review program for construction permit plan approval applications. The kick-off project was an Advanced Multi-Specialty Hospital investment by #RohaMedicalCampus.
We started discussions on infrastructure integration with QROI, a Hongkong based telecom tech company providing services to the Global Consortium that won the #Ethiopian telecom service liscence. We covered issues from site acquisition to fibre installations & standardization.
