This week @AddisonZeisler and my @MiamiOH_ResInno #USSS undergrad Isaac has been examining his #fish in search of #parasites. Today’s findings includes some cool parasites that we *think* are trematodes often called “yellow grub”.

Water Safety Awareness Week Tip #2: Be Cautious in Cold Water. Air temps may be warm, but the water temps in the #GreatLakes may not be. Cold temps can cause hypothermia in <1 hour. Wearing a life jacket significantly increases your survival chances. @miseagrant @SeaGrant @NWS
