This adorable little Hausa girl walked into our Chess class and asked if she could join us. She was born and has lived all her life under the bridge with no education because her mother lives in abject poverty.
I hope the world never takes this beautiful smile from her.
Ghana's 18-year-old Ruth Ama Gyan-Darkwa has become the youngest PhD student at the University of New Mexico, USA.
She is Ghana's youngest graduate, she bagged a BSc in Mathematics from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology at 17 in 2021. She gained admission at 13.
