Nigerian students: The day you enter UK, the only business you have is to start building capacity/skills in a role/industry that offers best possible outcomes when it comes to sponsorship.

Any other role you do is to fund that capacity and after school go for your PSW visa and continue the process. Spend time building your skills at least the first few months of your PSW in volunteering/internship(paid or unpaid).

When it comes to job applications, take it like it’s a 9-5 and don’t even flinch when you get 69 “unfortunately” out of 70. All you need is just ONE.

The above and some other tips is what I used for people I have mentored or those in my sphere of influence and it works.

I might be wrong, but the maintenance resource of all these kinda cars in Nigeria (not even the cost, assuming the super rich guys can afford it, but the technology) is my worry.
Are the dealers approved partners with manufacturers that they can update softwares, maintenance etc

Turning down the 130k offer from KPMG in 2014, because I was on a 270k salary then, is still one of my biggest regret till today.

I’ve seen people dismiss Big4 jobs because of the “measly” N130k salary. Let me tell you something: if you’re a fresh grad and you’re lucky enough to get into KPMG or any of the Big4, that salary should be the least of your worries.
