Last but not least, I am very excited to announce that I was accepted into medical school and started this July. This has been a dream of mine for 18 years and I am so grateful to God to see it come to fruition! #DrAdedipeIsLoading 🥳!
2) I submitted my thesis in July and I am proud to announce that as of September 2022, I am officially a Master’s holder 🥳. I’d especially like to thank @Ciaran_MR and the lab, the 8th floor at the @CRCHUM, my dear friends and @BlackInNeuro.
Your support meant everything to me.
1) In October 2020, I followed @Ciaran_MR to Montreal to help start the currently phenomenal Murphy-Royal lab and it was one of the best decisions that l have made. I am so grateful to have played a role in this beautiful body of work along with the lab!

2022 has been the most challenging but rewarding year of my life so far. It has been around 6 months since I was last active on Twitter and now that I finally have some time off, I would like to share some major life updates with you all via separate tweets…
We have more good news!

Black In Neuro Week will be back soon and better than ever.
For the third time (yes, already year 3!), we will have our week long community programming of science, professional development, networking, and Black joy.
Save the date #BINW22 : July 25-31, 2022
I’m always confused when EDI committees in science/departments can’t figure out what to do to improve their programs/student experience & then resort to brainstorming…
Do the research like you would any other project. There’s often data & action items out there
@mazygracey@CAN_ACN@MCAudet1 It was great to meet you and lovely hearing about you, your project and your journey! I hope we will be able to meet again soon!
In the train back for Montréal, I feel really grateful to have attended @CAN_ACN meeting in Toronto. First Canadian meeting, first in person since I became a postdoc fellow. Inspiring conversations and conferences, looking forward to see you all soon!
