I know I went on way too long, but the long and short of it is it’s a great movie, one with wonderful storytelling and stellar effects, and absolutely does not deserve all the hate it’s getting. I genuinely hope to see more films like Iron Lung in the future! Great work everyone!

Saw Iron Lung and seeing all the hate on it, I want to put my own two cents in. Both the game and especially the movie very clearly take inspiration from classic Lovecraftian horror, myself seeing a strong resemblance to the short story the Temple by Lovecraft.

I, myself, seeing Markiplier in a film like this wasn’t stuck unable to remove him from the character because the start of the movie is made TO immerse him as the character and attention spans are so fried that by zoning out the ‘boring’ part you’re missing that immersion.
