On Friday saw #SimonRussellBeale as a Chicago mobster in #TheOutfit. Today saw him as #WinstonChurchill in #OperationMincemeat, a remake of The Man Who Never Was. Perhaps it should have been called The Man Who Always Was. Two entertaining films.

Took a welcome study break to see one of Britain's best actors Timothy Spall in #TheLastBus @CurzonMayfair with @JasonCritic chairing Q&A. Spall is so moving as a cantankerous old geezer on a road trip and created so much dramatic tension just by walking down a flight of stairs.
