All API issues with Heroku have now been resolved. Any apps using the addon should be able to log into their AdeptScale dashboard correctly.
Thank you for your patience with this ongoing issue.
We are currently having an outage on several apps due to an issue communicating with the @heroku API. If you are experiencing this you will not see traffic on your dashboard. The quick solution is to remove and re-attach the addon.
AdeptScale is running normally. The DB maint. issue here https://t.co/dNVkMnxScZ caused us a lot of trouble and most of our apps lost scaling for between an hour and two hours due to this incident.
We will be reviewing this internally to determine how to best mitigate in future
At 4PM MST on Oct 20, Heroku made an unexpected change to one of our critical databases. We are trying to resolve the issue and mitigate instability in many apps. However, at this time, we strongly recommend that all AdeptScale users switch to manual scaling for the time being.
Today Scale had an outage which affected scale settings on some apps. We were able to recover old settings with a rollback, however anyone using the API or who made changes at that exact moment may have been affected. Please verify your scale settings are correct.
Due to an issue from our maintenance yesterday we needed to reset the short term history used to display on the dashboard. Scaling is ongoing, however you may see a short period without records on the dashboard. This is expected. Thank you for your understanding.
The AdeptScale Heroku addon interface will be offline for a DB migration on 2020-9-23 from 9:30-10:15PST. Scaling will continue in the background but it will be impossible to adjust settings for the duration. Please plan accordingly.
More specific info on the breaking outage seems to point to an AWS server that is critical to IBM's operation.

Several apps have been experiencing sporadic outages for the past few hours. We are currently pushing a fix. All apps will have scaling calculations restarted shortly. There is no action needed by users. Thank you for your patience and understanding
The outage has been resolved and all apps should now be seeing corrected data returning to their desktop charts. Due to the nature of this outage it will take another 30 minutes for full metrics to be built for your app, so please monitor. No further action should be necessary.
We are currently experiencing an outage affecting all apps. This DOES affect scaling. If you are expecting high traffic volume, please monitor your traffic manually for the time being. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Our readers are once again up and recording app service data. Scaling should resume shortly once new heuristics are built. We apologize for this inconvenience and will continue to monitor. Thank you for your patience.
We recommend that all customers check in on their apps periodically today, or switch to manual scaling, as this outage will affect our ability to scale for at least the next 30 minutes.
ALERT: Yesterday AdeptScale experienced a variety of issues seeming to relate to https://t.co/Yh3cHtMaGX
It's all-hands-on-deck here and scaling was restored shortly after, however, as of 20min ago we are seeing a resurgence of a system wide issue. Our engineers investigating.
Heroku incident re. disc space seems to have affected several scale users. See https://t.co/Yh3cHtMaGX for more info. This issue should now be resolved. Please let us know if it persists by opening a ticket in your AdeptScale dashboard.
