@ShiiMapping Last year it didn't feel like such a hurdle, but now it feels like everyone has impossible req rules (which still won't lead to the map getting accepted even if you follow them), or they're all closed or "permaopen" but actually take nothing, except for (obvious) cirlejerk lol

I've had talks with at least a dozen mappers now where they felt similar or were in full agreement. Right now it's really hard for anybody outside of people with very good connections to rank a map, me included.

@hazyEU @ShiiMapping FA may work mostly as its intended to, but this isn't the case for most non-fa maps, which make up the majority of maps being created, even during an event like this. I personally don't mind cj, as long as mappers can still rank maps despite it, just like how it was ~last year.

peppy is over hated as hell and its honestly incredibly disappointing and im surprsied that he hasnt lost passion for osu after all these years. he does/says stupid shit sometimes but i would still not choose any other dev tbh
