trying to see if i can use twitter to keep up with osu shit since 90% of osu discord servers are dead4
If you see me post or reply to anything that isn't osu/game related please stone me to death
@AdequateOSU@frogglesosu Been mapping on Lazer since July ^^
Took a lot of effort to adjust but nowadays I prefer it over stable for my workflow
As we get more qol improvements (like the sv feature on tachyon) I'm sure more mappers will make the switch :D
Been able to recover some more of my beatmaps from pre pc upgrade last year, but I'm still missing a lot of stuff I was working on between September 2024 and July 2025
Sadly a lot of it never got shared anywhere so it's probably lost media unless it's on my inaccessible SSD ๐ญ
@ilove3mod@sleposu Lazer is still missing features that would attract stable players and is still a WIP in many areas (eg results screen, mapping editor)
Personally I think Lazer has been perfectly usable for standard gameplay since 2024, but many would disagree, not even mentioning minigame modes
@ilove3mod@sleposu There's a reason the Lazer player share started growing quite considerably around the time they changed the download page to emphasise Lazer over stable
old guard stable players refusing to swap to Lazer has reduced Lazer uptake indirectly and directly
@nihilQWQ Shouldn't have taken so long for there to be a way to preset SV before placing sliders
I don't think it helps that peppy has REALLY stringent implementation requirements and is quite picky on what should be implemented
@nihilQWQ Must've been using a different client to play for the last 2 and a half years, and map for the last 9 months cuz I haven't found it unusable hahaha
That said, the mapping editor desperately needs some love cuz the UI is ass and workflow differences fuck over stable mappers
@circlesize Getting annoyed at the questionable or downright dumb actions taken sometimes is totally valid
But dear god, some people act like peppy/staff personally went to their home and killed their pets and loved ones
