One of the dumbest takes I keep seeing from rival fans:
“Pep is gone. City are finished. The downfall starts now.”
The funny thing is how confidently some of you say this, as if Pep personally built every part of Manchester City and will be taking the entire club with him.
Pep is a HUGE reason for this club's success. No argument there.
But Pep isn't the club.
The structure. The ownership. The recruitment. The footballing infrastructure. The academy. The people behind the scenes. The culture this club has built.
These are some of the very reasons I fell in love with City in the first place.
So when your entire argument is “Pep is gone, therefore City are finished”, you really haven't thought this through.
I get the jealousy. Years of watching City dominate will do that to you. 😂
But I'm not even interested in explaining why City will continue to succeed without Pep.
Go educate yourselves.
I'm more fascinated by the fact that some of you genuinely think this way. The simplicity of it is almost beautiful.
People can talk about Manchester City’s money all they want, but money didn't score Aguero's 93:20 against QPR.
Money didn't make City score twice in stoppage time after going 2-1 down with the title slipping away.
Money didn't make City come back from 2-0 down against Aston Villa with less than 20 minutes left and score three goals in five minutes to win the league.
You can buy players with money. You can build a squad with money.
But you cannot buy that mentality. You cannot buy that resilience. You cannot buy the ability to keep believing when everyone thinks you've already lost.
That's what makes City's league triumphs different. The money may have built the platform, but those moments were won by character.

If City are punished, give them 10 points, a transfer ban and a £500k fine.
Take it and move on.
If you still need relegation, titles stripped and years of punishment after that, then just admit this was never about fairness.
You just want City destroyed
If City are guilty, punish them.
But wanting a punishment deliberately designed to make the players leave, wreck the wage structure and damage the club for half a decade?
Just admit you want Manchester City destroyed.
Use the time you are using to "scheme" to pray and the right strategy will be downloaded in prayer...
One of such prayers are; Eyes that sees, Ears that hears...
Imagine being so traumatized by Manchester City winning that relegation and a 100-point deduction STILL wouldn’t satisfy you.
You need five years of suffering too.
This club has genuinely broken people.
I live in Canada.
I wake up at ridiculous hours to watch City.
I spend money on the club.
I follow every game, every transfer, every story.
But apparently someone born 10 minutes from the stadium who barely watches is automatically a “better fan” than me.
Yeah alright.
Abuse me. Insult me. Call me deluded. I genuinely do not care.
Manchester City is the first club I ever supported. The only club I’ve ever known. I love this club with all my heart.
So when my club tells me they’re innocent and that they’re going to fight this all the way through the appeal, I’m going to give them the benefit of the doubt.
I’m going to back them.
I’m going to defend them.
And I don’t care how unpopular that makes me.
Because I refuse to turn on the club I love just because the entire football world is screaming at me to.
If City lose the appeal, I’ll turn on them myself, because that would mean they lied to us. They would’ve betrayed every fan who stood here defending them.
And believe me, I’ll be one of the first to say they let us down.
But until then?
I’m backing my club. Deal with it.
The thing rival fans hate most isn’t even City fighting the charges.
It’s the fact the club genuinely looks like it believes it can win.
That confidence is rattling people.
When I say God, I mean Jesus.
Not the universe. Not energy. Not luck. Not positive vibes. Not manifestation.
I mean Jesus Christ, the Son of God, crucified for our sins, buried, risen on the third day, and reigning forever.
Nobody hates City because they cheated. A lot of the noise comes from the fact that City became successful and completely dwarfed the rest of the Premier League.
The jealousy is obvious. People still struggle to accept that the club they saw as a mid table team is now a dominant force and sitting at the top.
If one of the so called Red Cartel clubs were in City’s position, the reaction would be very different.

Your owners can load the club with debt, neglect the squad and spend years enriching themselves…
but City fans backing owners who actually invested in the football club is where you suddenly discover morals?
The hypocrisy is insane.
