This #WorldRefugeeDay and beyond, let's reaffirm our commitment to advancing the health and well-being of refugees worldwide. Ensuring that refugees receive the healthcare they need is vital.
Let's ensure we integrate programs that help refugees navigate the healthcare system into our refugee response plan, with a special focus on health education, sexual and reproductive health and rights, SGBV and mental health services.

Hosted the #NabisunsaGirls S6Arts class today for a career guidance session. Talking to the students, the Deputy Principal, Dr Zahara Nampewo encouraged them to work hard.
Engagement of young people in advancing sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) is not only beneficial but essential. Their unique perspectives, potential, and fresh approaches as future leaders are indispensable.
We are actively participating in the #YouthSymposium24 organized by @SRHRAllianceUg along with other partners, well represented by our very own #Annie Adikini. The symposium is about empowering the next generation of advocates to advance the Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights.
“Young people should invest in the right 21st century skills and mindset to position themselves strategically to effectively advance the SRHR message in their local communities.”
The symposium speaks to the need of various stakeholders such as local musicians, youth community leaders, religious leaders and various CSOs to onboard young people and address SRHR challenges in their local communities. The symposium also addresses the need for young people to package themselves professionally for their voices to be heard more in the global space.
The Uganda Law Students Journal, 1st Edition is now available, both in Hard copies and Soft copies!
We're greatful to the various Students and stakeholders that have made this dream a reality!
@lawsocietymak under the able leadership of Hon. @AdikinAnne should embark on a partnership with the Judiciary to make access to the judiciary library (I hope there will be one) to the Societies programs accessible.
Our judicial system can only be strengthened by research!

Digital Banking has revolutionized banking in Uganda and Africa as a whole , yet there is little home grown literature about it. I hope this paper will offer guidance to Law of Banking students at my alma mater , in other institutions in Uganda and in Africa.
