I don't know who else to tell this to, so I am going to tell my story here.
Every day is a struggle for a young business, but the last few months have been harder than usual.
We are a small Indian company. For more than ten years we have been building a homegrown brand in a product category dominated by big foreign players.
There are almost no Indian names in this space. We set out to be one.
We started in 2014. Over the years we began making parts in India instead of just importing, and we started selling in the US, Dubai, Nepal, Malaysia and South Africa.
We showed up at global trade fairs to represent an Indian brand on the world stage.
In 2023 we changed the import code we use for our product. We did not do this quietly. Every shipment was declared. Nothing was hidden. We didn't invent our approach.
We followed written professional advice and the way this product is treated in markets around the world.
And now we are facing a government demand running into tens of crores in duty recovery and penalties, plus personal penalties on the founders and even on an employee.
For a company our size, this is not a fine we can pay and move on from. This ends us.
We have not run from any of this. I am not built like that. It is not how I was raised. We have written to the authorities, met officials in person, and we have now filed a writ in the High Court.
All we are asking for is a fair treatment.
I set out to build in India and sell to the world. I am asking only that the system back honest founders trying to compete globally, instead of breaking them.
The process is the process, and it exists for a reason. But process should not feel like punishment.
From where I am standing today, it does.
I am not giving up. I have worked too hard for this. If you have read this far, please share it. If you know someone who can help, point them my way. Help me get the word out.
Bashing Indian IT service companies for not building frontier AI is fair.
But they were built for services.
The real question is much sharper:
Where is Tata’s Qwen?
Qwen came from Alibaba — a company smaller than the listed Tata empire.
Where is Ambani’s ERNIE? ( Baidu )
Where is Mahindra’s Hunyuan?
Where is Adani’s Pangu?
Where is L&T’s defence AI foundation model?
Where is Birla’s industrial AI model?
China’s established corporate giants are building frontier models.
Alibaba built Qwen.
Baidu built ERNIE.
Tencent built Hunyuan.
Huawei built Pangu.
ByteDance built Doubao.
iFLYTEK built Spark.
So stop gaslighting people with “India lacks capital.”
India does not lack capital.
India does not lack engineers.
India lacks a billionaire class willing to risk serious money on frontier AI.
There is money for weddings, cricket, retail, ports, media, and political access.
But when it comes to building India’s Qwen, suddenly everyone becomes a cautious accountant.
That is the scandal.
If a single pilgrim is attacked during Amarnath Yatra, I promise you this: that I will ensure not a single pilgrim flies off for Haj. - Balasaheb Thackeray, 1993.
Dr @swapan55 inherits a Bengal wrecked by financial ruin (₹8 lac crore debt), anti-corporate policies (7,000 companies have taken flight), and insane mismanagement (₹5,800 crore for Minority Affairs versus ₹80 crore for Science & Tech).
But if anyone can, he can. Best wishes.

Samsung just crossed $1 trillion market cap. Second Asian company ever, after TSMC. Stock quadrupled in one year on AI chip demand.
Here is what most people will miss about this headline.
Samsung is building a semiconductor fab in India. Not assembling phones — fabricating chips. The same company that just became a trillion-dollar giant is betting on Indian manufacturing for its next growth leg.
Five years ago the question was whether India could even attract a single chip fab. Today we have four under construction — Tata in Dholera, Micron in Sanand, CG Power in Gujarat, and Tower Semiconductor in Assam. Samsung's India operations already do Rs 1 lakh crore in revenue.
When TSMC hit $1 trillion, nobody connected it to Taiwan's 40-year industrial policy that started with a government research lab. Samsung's story is similar — Korea bet on memory chips in the 1980s when everyone said they were too late.
India is making that bet right now. The semiconductor PLI at Rs 76,000 crore is our version of Korea's 1983 DRAM moonshot. We will know in five years if we had the patience to see it through.
His name was Pradyumn Thakur.
He was 7 years old. Class 2 at Ryan International School in Gurugram, Haryana.
His father dropped him at the school gate at 7:55 am on September 8, 2017. At 8:08 am, he was found outside a washroom with his throat slit. He was rushed to hospital and declared dead on arrival.
The school did not call the police. His parents did.
Haryana Police arrived three and a half hours later.
They noticed blood stains on bus conductor Ashok Kumar. The same clothes he wore while carrying a bleeding 7 year old child to a car.
On September 10, the Police Commissioner held a press conference. He declared Ashok Kumar was the killer. He said Ashok had tried to sexually assault Pradyumn and murdered him.
The Chief Minister of Haryana congratulated the police for solving the case.
The Bar Association of Gurugram passed a resolution refusing to let any lawyer defend Ashok Kumar. The Supreme Court later disciplined them for this.
Pradyumn’s mother said from day one she believed Ashok was being framed.
CBI took over the case.
They found no forensic evidence against Ashok Kumar. No evidence of sexual assault. The gardener who was first at the scene said he saw no blood on Ashok before Ashok helped carry the child. The claimed semen sample did not exist. [Source: CBI chargesheet 2018]
In November 2017, CBI arrested the real accused. A 16 year old student at the same school. CBI said he confessed to killing Pradyumn to get his exams cancelled.
He chose his victim randomly.
Ashok Kumar was acquitted of all charges on February 28, 2018. [Source: Child Special Court Gurugram judgment February 28, 2018]
In January 2021, CBI charged four Gurugram Police officers with framing Ashok Kumar. Falsifying documents. Torture. Criminal conspiracy. [Source: CBI chargesheet January 2021]
Those four officers have not been convicted.
The Police Commissioner who declared Ashok guilty on television faced no consequences. The Chief Minister who congratulated police faced no consequences.
Pradyumn’s family is still waiting for justice for their son.

In Varanasi, a man named Manish Singh, who ran a leaf-plate factory in Phulpur, was returning home on Sunday night around 10 PM after closing his factory. Just about 100 meters before reaching his house, his vehicle hit a woman, and she got injured.
After this, villagers pulled Manish out of his vehicle and brutally attacked him. He was beaten to death with bricks. His head was completely crushed, and he suffered severe injuries all over his body. His entire head was crushed. Manish’s eyes had come out. There was no part of his body left that was not attacked. His hands and legs were broken in many places.
Just think about it- what kind of times are we living in? People no longer fear the law. It feels like humanity is fading, and people are behaving in a very violent and uncontrolled way.
Vultures eat anthrax, botulism, rabies, and cholera for breakfast.
Their stomach acid is among the most corrosive in the animal kingdom, with a pH around 1, low enough to dissolve the bones, hide, and pathogens of dead animals that would kill almost anything else.
A vulture eating a diseased carcass isn't a vector for disease, it's a terminus. The disease chain ends in the vulture's gut, and that's pretty hardcore.
When vulture populations crashed in India in the 1990s, rotting livestock carcasses sat where vultures used to clean them.
Feral dogs and rats took over the cleanup, both of which actually do spread rabies. Researchers later linked the vulture collapse to roughly 500,000 deaths in India over the following decade.
The same collapse is now underway in sub-Saharan Africa. Six of eleven African vulture species are threatened with extinction, primarily from poisoned poaching baits.
The animals nobody finds cute are doing more public health work than most of the species we actively protect.
The person crying on camera is Pandit Sonu Sharma who works as a Barber from hardly a KM away from the Ram Janmbhumi. His family did Karsewa for the mandir. Sonu Sharma is physically handicapped but stands 12 hours to earn 300 a day. His shop was first bulldozed by the Ayodhya Administration then asked 15 lakhs to renew his shop. Also, he is asked to give 5000 per month as rent. He told us that govt has not given him a house under PMAY. He said that how he could arrange 15 lakhs money to stay here. He is doing this job for the last 18 years. No media will show you the real stories of Ayodhya. A full interview of this man will come on @NP_Hindi and @PoliticoNeo
Life is absolute hell due to dogs here in Palam. In every single street there are dogs every 20-30 meters. They keep barking whole night collectively and relentlessly.
This place for some reason appears to have become stagnant and has begun to rot.

Thank you, @grok for making history come alive.
Pancreatic cancer has one of the most suppressive tumor microenvironments in oncology.
But two pancreatic cancer results dropped today. Both matter.
1. BioNTech mRNA neoantigen vaccine: nearly all responders still alive at 6 years. 98% of induced T cells were de novo — the immune system learned to see a cancer it had always been blind to.
2. Daraxonrasib: 47% ORR, 92% disease control as first-line monotherapy. KRAS G12D, undruggable for 40 years, finally has a drug.
Different mechanisms. Same disease. Both working.
<13% of patients survive 5 years. That number is about to change.
great day for science! 🔥
I was not aware that such law also exists in India
If Hindu A gifts his land to Hindu B then Hindu B needs to register it and to pay stamp duty to govt (Section 123, TP Act)
But if Muslim A gifts his land to Muslim B then Muslim B doesn’t need to register it or pay stamp duty to the govt (Section 129, TP Act based on Sharia law Hiba)
When a petitioner approached the Supreme Court for this then the court asked him to approach the Central govt to amend this
This law was made by Britishers in 1882 to divide India and after 1947 Congress continued it
My question to all political parties
Why don’t you just declare India a Sharia country?
🚨 Let’s expose the quantum-level dual behavior of the world’s biggest Hindutva party ~ BJP ~ 🚨
Only 4 days to B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti ~ let’s stand united against discrimination.
Have you ever shown even 1% of this excitement for Ram Navami or Janmashtami?
The same BJP that screams “We brought Ram back” is now forcing Ambedkar Jayanti countdowns like desperate nibbas.
This is the same Dr B.R Ambedkar -
~who took 22 vows openly rejecting Brahma, Vishnu, Mahesh, Ram, Krishna, and the entire Hindu pantheon
~calling Hindu gods false and Hinduism a religion based on inequality that harms humanity.
He openly declared he was renouncing Hinduism and adopting Buddhism because it was “harmful for humanity”.
And here you are ~ the self-proclaimed biggest Hindutva party ~aggressively promoting a man who spat on everything you claim to stand for.
Stop this shameless hypocrisy. If you’re so proud of Hindutva, stop hijacking and glorifying the man who wanted to bury it.
