Dear 2025-2026 passouts,
I’ve seen many friends spend their college years just chilling—ignoring DSA and fundamentals—only to struggle later when even mass hiring companies feel out of reach.
Doing LeetCode is a habit. If you build this in your 2nd or 3rd year, believe me, 90% of your placement stress will be gone!
Enjoy college, but don’t neglect what matters!
All the effort you put in now, reduces the effort required to "give something your best" five years from now. Your best will become/seem so effortless, people will start calling you lucky and privileged, and blessed with an "unfair advantage."
But only you know HOW you gained the privilege to be so lucky and so unfairly advantaged ;)
I love Bengaluru. But, I can really feel the pain of high rents here.
To organise a 2 day seminar in a good hotel (for 200 guests): I had to pay 15.5Lakhs.
I was told at a recent meet-up that it is much cheaper to do this in Dubai now.
@its_shubho@waitin4agi_ 1. Doing this, you’re indirectly spending your time to hunting a new tenant.
2. In most cases, it’ll be difficult to find a new tenant without a broker. So you’ll need to pay to the broker as well.
What say?
Do compare the % of working women of our nation with the developed nations of the globe.
P.S.: I’m myself an NIT grad., blind female intake was not there at my institute.
I acknowledge that perspectives may differ, and I respect your point of view. Don’t misunderstand.

Although it’s true that orgs. are trying to uplift female intake especially in STEM, but why to particularly target NITs for it??
If you deep down, you’ll see that every org. is focusing on different niches and hence may be having different expectations from a similar role.

Two of my cousins from extended family went to NITs. Cousin bro went to the better NIT, took lots of DSA courses, grinded Leetcode. Got a job at 4LPA frm outside bcz not many hiring companies males in his college.
Cousin sis went to a mediocre NIT, hardly knows programming yet have an offer of 7LPA. Almost all her female classmates have job offers
This is pretty much story in most NITs. Is this diversity?
Mostly your wages should ideally be proportional to the impact you’re creating in the ecosystem.
Few years back, we were the ones who were giving speeches on Women Empowerment, then what happened suddenly ??

@Ravisutanjani Books 📚
You can get to know most of the learnings that the author has known throughout his life; everything compiled together in a 100-200 page read.
@vanshika_van You can try for Top 20 IITs/NITs in branches like Electronics or Electrical. These colleges allow most of the IT companies to open for such branches too.
Bangalore has great colleges+the IT startup ecosystem there. You’ll get more opportunities, but overall it’s a bit expensive.
@BhosalePratim I always wish to doing it mid way when most of the build is finalized.
Although I haven’t done it yet. 😂
Kabhi naa kabhi toh krna hi hai documentation ! 🤧
