Humble request to IRDAI.

I have 8 accidental insurance policies, 2 health insurance policies, 1 term insurance policy, and many more.

I don’t remember exactly where I got these insurance policies from or how many I have.

Some are free with credit cards, some are bought through banks, and some are from other sources.

Six months ago, when I got into an accident, I didn’t claim any amount because I didn’t even remember that I had such a policy.

I request IRDAI to build a platform where anyone can check how many insurance policies are issued in their name.

It will help people keep track of their policies and take advantage of them when needed.

This is the need of the hour, considering that insurance policies are given freely as a feature with many financial services.

I got married when I was at 7LPA. It was an arranged marriage and my husband had just started on his own as a consultant and was making less than me at the time.

My mum asked me multiple times if I was sure about my decision. She didn't want the same struggles for me which she had faced.

NGL, I thought about it too. But in my mind a marriage was more about belief in the guy rather than his current status. He had the drive, ambition and confidence of making it on his own and I choose to follow him.

Now my pay has multiplied many times over the years and he makes 2x of what I do. But I'd still follow him if the equation was the same when we got married. We're closing in on 10 years together happily with a kid.

Believe in the guy you are getting married to, not his status. Can be done when it's a love or arranged marriage. If you lean in, he will do a lot more for you.
