If anyone here wants an alt season whilst also praying for $ETH's downfall you are going to be very disappointed.

The only way these alts recover is if $ETH recovers and I honestly don't think any of us want to live in a world where $ETH isn't ranked number 2 and is replaced by something like XRP or Solana. $SOL is great by many standards but doesn't take the core tenets of crypto seriously, such as liveness and decentralisation.

You're looking at more VC crap with massive unlocks and 5% inflation which allows infinite easy token creation and attracts some of the worst participants such as the KOL cabal and other outright scammers.

Pre-sales, pumpdotfun extraction, political coins, memecoins, celebcoins etc. - all net negative. The same handful of people taking all the money and fleecing retail.

Everyone wonders why this market sucks so much right now, why there's no sustained bid for alts and why no one is making any money.

Well, the answer is because $ETH has led every single fun thing in crypto that made bull cycles fun.

1. ICO's
2. DeFi Summer
3. NFT's

If you want this cycle to be PVE, uponly and fun again, you better pray $ETH recovers. Otherwise, good luck losing your minds chasing narratives that last 3 weeks and throw new retail into the grinder so they leave and don't come back.

Surprising no one has realised this tbh. It's very obvious that $ETH bought the fun and innovation each cycle to create a sustained altseason.

Without it, you might as well just sit in $BTC and save yourself the headache tbh.
