@GrainRevis23356@ryyry90@TauCetiGG Literally every Bungie game is full of similarities bro. "Nothing like Destiny" get your head out of your ass lmfao.
@ryyry90@TauCetiGG Marathon was originally a PvE game so Destiny was copying Marathon I guess. Not like it's the first time a brand new game decided to expand their mode selection either. You'd probably cry no matter what decision they made.
@potato_O1O@myelectricadv@Wario64 There are 4-6 teams if you're a trio in Marathon and Arc Raiders starts matches with 21 players. That's almost the same amount as people in a Perimeter match. Don't get me wrong I like the size more in Marathon but they only have so much to do right now.
@gore_doII Convinced there's not a single person here that actually played the game because if it was SO bad then why does it STILL have a higher rating than Arc Raiders, Marvel Rivals, CoD, BF6, Tarkov, OW, Hunt: Showdown, Delta Force, Apex, etc.
@UnToastedBoi@gore_doII Probably playing one of the other thousands of games that exist? Marathon was advertised as an evolving story game but has minimal content and story at the moment.
@Grisnir@gore_doII Technically they're "Horde Shooters," but all the features overlap in most cases. Lots of extraction shooters let you keep stuff after you die via safe pockets, exp, or in Marathons case, the Currency chips. Similar to DRG/HD2 in which you only keep some stuff after failure.
@RitalinCitizen@gore_doII Because no ones going to play 4 maps forever in a progression based extraction. Lots of people have hundreds of hours on the game. Saying "a higher rating means nothing" is some real stupid shit.
@Zenithrall@gore_doII Because all of them are old as hell and built up large communities on top of being much bigger games. No shit they have more players.
