I remember asking assistant coach Mo Cheeks, what’s harder to do? Workout after practice or before?? I only asked cuz by time I would get to the gym, Russ was already done in the morning and I usually got mine in after practice. Mo like, “coming in before practice is probably harder”…since then, it’s been my routine….a lot of people looked at the emotions on the court and thought Russ was loud, nah to me, he was quiet and methodical. He lead by example and once the lights were bright, he let everything out and experienced pure freedom. It was inspiring as his teammate and everywhere I went, I seen it inspire people from all walks of life, crazy thing is, he didn’t say much, he just showed up. For 18 years. This basketball life is sacred to us as professionals, what we put into that court means everything. Some of us wish we could go back and do things with a little more intent and some can just wipe their hands and be satisfied with the time spent. Who u gonna be? We know what zero was on…keep inspiring in the next phase of life champ. I don’t care what happens, can’t erase what it was…The first YNs, finals run in our early 20s, all star games, seeing each other get injured and bounce back, the bus rides, plane rides, card games, jokes and arguments, the whole thing, memorable!! …to the whole Westbrook family, Nina, the kids, mama Westbrook, big Russ, Ray, Donnell, everybody from luezinger high and ucla and many more that I’m forgettin, much love and Congratulations on a iconic career.

[Marc D'Amico @Marc_DAmico]

Do you guys think it's a big deal that Jayson Tatum came back this year?👀👀

[Jaylen Brown @FCHWPO]

A new way to ENJOY the NBA returns to NBC

[Grant Williams @Grant2Will]

Not even with them anymore but this C’s discourse is wild. Everyone has a right to an opinion but JT and JB are Superstars. They are able 2 have bad games but we’ve all witnessed them both takeover. Don’t let recent events cloud your eyes from what they’ve done and accomplished.

[Aadi Dogra @Adogra12]

We would blow this fucking lead wouldn’t we are we even surprised

[Aadi Dogra @Adogra12]

This shit is why people slander JT

The Truth abt Nikola Jokic:

If LeBron or Steph dropped 61, 10, and 10 in a game this time of year , we’d shut down the internet & ESPN would talk about it for 2 days straight.. But when Jokic does it, it’s just another night. Why? Because he doesn’t look the part. He’s not flashy.. not loud. But make no mistake — skill for skill, he’s already outpacing Shaq, Hakeem, even Kareem. We’re just afraid to say it. Jokic isn’t just the best player in the world — he’s quietly building one of the greatest legacies we’ve ever seen — & media is still acting like it’s a fluke.

[Dan Greenberg @StoolGreenie]

It's interesting how best player on the best team and a 13.5 game gap in the standings are MVP case boosters in 2025, yet those same exact things were used to lessen an MVP case in 2024

[Aadi Dogra @Adogra12]

@StoolGreenie Anyone know why Jaylen not closing?

[Aadi Dogra @Adogra12]

Why Jaylen not closing?

[Aadi Dogra @Adogra12]

At this point I’d rather us just not take a lead in games lmao this is pathetic

[Aadi Dogra @Adogra12]

My favorite part of the trade is Ainge getting in on it for a couple of 2nds like a fucking crack addict

[Brett Siegel @BrettSiegelNBA]

Early word on all of this:

Apparently a rift had been forming between Anthony Davis and Lakers management, especially after his sit-down interview with ESPN.

This trade JUST came together in the last few hours with nobody around the league knowing about it.
