One can argue with media votes - right or wrong is ultimately subjective. That's the beauty of sport and excellence and fandom.

Media ARE NOT, however, compelled to vote for their home players. That's not how media or this process works. Nor should it.

Lying about a vote is bad. Not defending that. Allowing media to make, presumably, informed, objective votes, we absolutely must encourage & protect. Not shit on them just cause they fail a loyalty blood oath test.

This one's fully on Coach Atkinson. Wade/Strus on the bench (Strus comes in with 1:45 left and hits a 3) while Harden/Merrill eaten up in 4Q/OT. Even Schroder might've helped against Brunson and with scoring. Then, Mitchell disappears. His 3Q usage (42%) drops 24%/18% in 4th/OT.

This is the issue. The NBA suffers shit leadership. The tanking, suspensions, Apron system, load management, the ALLSTAR GAME: none of it has logic or consistency or promise of strengthening the League. It’s a dumb/stubborn/greedy leader doing whatever he wants not what is needed

The NBA has never before fined a team any amount of money solely because of their playing time allocations and substitution choices. Forget everything else for a minute and decide if you think it’s Ok for a bunch of lawyers to decide what is an acceptable sub pattern.
