BREAKING NEWS: It gets worse for Mr. Trump. In the New York fraud trial today, the judge confronted Donald Trump directly and disproved his assertion that the judge had dismissed 80 percent of the case against him based on the statute of limitations.

The judge openly informed Trump that he had already lost the case and warned him that the use of false financial statements in business would restart the statute of limitations. Additionally, the judge clarified that New York Attorney General Letitia James was not suing Trump for the underlying transactions but rather for the financial statements that referred to them, all of which took place after 2014.

Judge Engoron cleverly responded to Trump's attempt to mislead reporters by asserting that most of the case had been dismissed. The judge made it clear that he wasn't easily swayed and confronted Trump openly, not just in front of everyone present, but in front of the entire nation.
