Better information at bus stops would help. I was in London a couple of weeks ago - in the past a lot of stops had spider maps, now they don't. Also showed info on buses that no longer stopped there.
Plus prioritise buses at traffic lights. Cost a bit, would make a difference.
.@campbellclaret Wondering why Farage has done what he's done? If no-one else stands, would it still have to go to the vote, would he automatically win? Or could he then decide not to stand to avoid scrutiny? Unless he thinks if he wins, he is above everything else...?
@wongmjane@Engineering@X But does it show posts in descending order now if that's what you've selected (sort by > Following > Recent)? For me it still shows in random time order, so "sort by" is kind of redundant/useless.
@claudeai I give @claudeai simple instructions. It goes off and does the wrong thing. I correct it, it finally starts to do what I ask, then I get this. I'm going to start asking for refunds for wasted tokens, or maybe cancel and go with something else. Thank you for wasting my time!
@claudeai But it's not finishing is it? It keeps giving me this stupid message. When it stops and I try again, this message is shown, almost on a loop.
I'm wondering whether the Costa Coffee I've stumbled into is actually a Starbucks in disguise? The air conditioning works, as does the wifi. Plenty of places to sit at a desk with a laptop I can plug in.
This is what the media should be asking when people tell them they want a General Election. For a General Election you vote for a party, not a Prime Minister. The party chooses the leader who then becomes Prime Minister. The media know this, yet enjoy whipping up a storm!
People who say there should be a General Election - is that what you actually think regardless of who is in power, or do you just want your preference in charge? If Farage was Prime Minister and had to resign, would you want a General Election then?
.@NCT_Buses I like the changes to the website, but if I have one little niggle it's that the Live Bus Times and Journey Planner should be on the same side of the page regardless of whether it's the home page or other pages on the site. Keeps it consistent for web users.
.@BBCNews After Labour did badly at the council elections, you wanted Kier Starmer to resign or tried to initiate that he will. Now after the Makerfield by-election and Reform didn't win, will you do the same to Nigel Farage? No, I didn't think so either.
TfL urged to crack down on passengers blasting music on trains and buses
(visit the ianvisits website for the story)
The nuisance of people playing music on trains could face increased enforcement, as the Mayor of London, Sir Sadiq Khan, agreed to look at what could be done.
