After travelling to dozens of countries, meeting hundreds of thousands of people, and interacting with millions more online, I've realised that one of the best gifts my parents gave me was NOT instilling any victim complex in me.

I have XX chromosomes. Biological female. You cannot just go on how someone looks. The reason I am a transsexual in my chromosomes. They matter. I have high testosterone because I inject it. I would be disqualified to compete in womens sports because it would be considered doping. BUT I am still a female. XY is male. Period. Sports has always used chromosomes. Why not now? They are gaslighting this! If you have XY chromosomes you cannot compete in women’s sports. Just deal with it!

Taking it away from the individual, the argument for exclusion of most XY DSDs from the female category is because the sports biology and physiology is male (muscle development, size, CV capacity etc).

This simple observation doesn’t need to address anything about legal/social identity and so on. We don’t need to dehumanise, we don’t need to talk about morality or make value judgements. We do need to be able to use clear, sex-based language.

Does this individual benefit from male development *in a way that matters for sport*? If the answer is yes, which is the case for most XY DSDs, I’m not sure why you argue for a “free pass”?

The integrity of the female category means excluding male advantage acquired from male biology (testes, testosterone, functional signalling etc).
