Effective questioning is key to strong leadership. The Effective Questioning Matrix helps leaders dive deeper into the what, why, how, and who of any situation. Use it to ask smarter questions, inspire critical thinking, and make better decisions.

There are some fantastic (free) resources for change & great graphics in the Registered Nurses' Association of Ontario (@RNAO) "Leading Change Toolkit". I particularly like the content on the "social movement action framework", a people-led, grassroots approach to change that develops in response to an urgent shared concern or strongly desired change as well as a readiness for purposeful action by individuals, groups & organizations.

One of the key graphics has been adapted by @TCI_ca: https://t.co/z8cKyTYVXZ. If we typically led more change this way (with & by people, rather than to or for people) we would make quicker progress.
Wow. I love #countryfile but jesus. A whole episode about how to fish. Not about the environment, the issues faced by fish, the countryside just fishing #zzzzzzzz
Next few weeks drystone watching, grass growing and how to muck spred 🙄
This one was a great interview—and Jim McCartney turned it into a great article for @AmCollSurgeons
If surgeons can get behind #PsychologicalSafety, given what’s at stake for them and their patients, the rest of us can, too!

“The language that we use… even in the question ‘Do we have a sick note culture?’ It’s cruel”
Chair of the NHS Confederation Victor Adebowale says the use of “performative” language needs to stop, and the government should show more "compassion"

A new approach to truly being empathetic. Don't try to 'walk in their shoes' (too much bias) instead aim for 'perspective-getting'. Have a looped conversation of checking perspective and experience through deeper listening https://t.co/JSoPd3UPJN @HRforNUH@NUH_QI
Difficult conversations are rarely as unpleasant as we expect.
7 studies: we're too pessimistic about leveling with friends & partners. We fixate on what could go wrong, overlooking what might go right.
Relationships stagnate in silence. Candor opens the door to growth.
What a perfect spot for some Dialogic OD reading. How deep listening can create transformational possibilities through challenging ingrained assumptions 🤓 @NHSE_DoOD@ODNetwork
